More than two decades of education, training and clinical practice.
Dr. Anous serves as Head of the Maxillofacial Surgery Department at Al-Farwaniya Hospital, Ministry of Health, Kuwait, combining complex surgical practice with departmental leadership, postgraduate training and multidisciplinary patient care.
Since 2018, he has also taught at the Faculty of Dentistry, Kuwait University, contributing to undergraduate and postgraduate education, clinical supervision, examinations, OSCEs and surgical training.
His international education includes a DDS from the University of Jordan, an MSc in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from the University of Manchester, MFDRCSI and FFDRCSI qualifications from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, and extensive Canadian specialty training at the University of Manitoba, where he completed his OMFS internship, five-year residency and Master of Dentistry.
He subsequently achieved specialist certification and Fellowship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery through the Royal College of Dentists of Canada — FRCDC (OMFS).

Education is a defining part of Dr. Anous’s career. He is Adjunct Faculty of the Kuwait Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, contributes as an Arab Board examiner, and teaches subjects ranging from surgical anatomy, local anaesthesia and medical emergencies to trauma, fixation biomechanics, orthognathic surgery, TMJ management and facial aesthetics.
His academic activity extends internationally. He has been selected as faculty for the IBRA Advanced Course in Current Concepts in Pan-Facial Trauma in Muscat, Oman, and has participated in scientific meetings as a speaker and session chair.
